Chocolate Fudge – Dairy & Gluten Free

Ever had a big craving for chocolate? This chocolate fudge is heavenly.. you can make the naturally slightly bitter or sweet version, depending on your mood. I always opt for using honey rather than sugar as well as flax-eggs instead of regular eggs.

 

Serves 8

Preparation Time 20 mins

Cooking Time 30 mins

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup coconut oil

1 cup cocoa powder

200g gluten and dairy free chocolate

1 1/2 cups honey

4 flax eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup coconut flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 cup brown sugar (optional for a sweet rather than a naturally slightly bitter chocolate fudge )

 

 

Method:

 

In a saucepan pour in the coconut oil, cocoa powder and chocolate until melted and smooth. Mix these, together with all the remaining ingredients, until everything is well combined. Pour into a baking dish and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 Degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. Store in the fridge after it is completely cooled. If you want a real cheat top it up with a scoop of your favorite dairy free icecream!
